就職の翼→JASIPA合同企業説明会

１６日、沖縄キリスト教大学を訪問した。沖縄の５大学が共同で、東京企業への就職活動を支援する「就職の翼」というものがあり。この話しを聞きに、就職部を尋ねた。

弊社は、昨年もこの就職の翼向けに合同企業説明を開催した。実際には、JASIPA会員企業の１０数社の企業が集まってくれた。今年もやろうと思う。帰京後、すぐ企画をする予定でいる。

沖縄キリスト教大学訪問

沖縄キリスト教大学、まだ新しさがあり、キャンパスは小さいが、校舎綺麗な建物である。この大学で２００８年３月に、４年生大学として始めての卒業生がでる。つまり一期生である。

この大学の特徴は、英語が強い、TOIEC７００点以上が結構いるようである。理系は無いが、弊社に取ってみると非常に興味が沸く大学である。

弊社にとっては、英語ができることは、すごく優位である。弊社は、私が３ヶ月に1度はアメリカに行くように、英語は結構必要である。社内に英語を話せる人間が少ないだけに、是非とも欲しい。海外からの電話や海外の企業との英語での契約書、英語でのマニュアル作成など英語を使うところが多い。

ＩＴ企業へ就職は文系出身が必要である。

弊社は、下請け業ではなく、一般のあらゆる業種の企業へシステムを販売している。下請け専門の企業であれば、理系出身者が望ましいが、弊社のようなパッケージソフトの販売企業は、文系の出身も必要である。

あらゆる企業（業種）の知識が必要である。例えば化粧品会社にシステムを提案するとき、女性の感覚やおしゃれのセンスなどが必要になったりする。理系卒のバリバリのエンジニアには、提案や概要設計が厳しい。弊社では文系出身者や接客業のアルバイトをしていた学生のほうが都合が良かったりもする。それは、仕事上、お客さんとのコミュニケーションが多かったり、いろんな業種への提案が多いからである。

理系の学生も、文系の学生も元気のいい学生をバランス良くどんどん採用していきたい。
