世の中の移り変わり

ＩＴ業界もそのしくみの進化の仕方は、いろいろだ。進んだと思ったら、形を変えて戻ってくる仕組みもある。

その昔の汎用機の集中型システムは、ダウンサイジングで分散型に変化し、イントラネット、Webでまた集中型に変化した。　集中型が更に進化してクラウドに変わっていく。

クラウドの在り方も興味があるが、その先はどうなるのだろうか？　面白い。

原発の廃止

電力は、大昔は、自分で火を起こしたり、人力で代用してきたものだ。　そこから発電機ができ、個々に所有し、統合され電力会社という現在で言うクラウド型の提供方法に変わってきた。

統合し集中型にはなったものの、電力が足りず、結局、原子力を使うことになってしまった。

しかし、被爆国である日本は、その恐ろしさを知っているはず、

原子力を使い続けていいのだろうか？　いつかは廃止されていくに違いない。

そうなると、集中型は維持できないのだろうか？

ここ最近は、自家発電機が売れ始めている。　ソーラーパネルも売れ始めている。個人の家の太陽エネルギーは、電力会社へ売っている。また、分散型へ戻るのか？　形を変えて、集中型を維持するか？　それを「ハイブリッド集中型」なんて呼ぶのだろうか。

と、考えていくとＩＴ業界で「クラウドの行方」はどうなるのか？　最近、良く考える。いろんなことが想像出来てしまう。

この電力の流れからITのクラウドを考える。

ここ数年で、クラウドは流行ってきた。　欧米はそれなりに日本より早く動き始めてきた。日本は遅い、でも、日本でのクラウドは、欧米のものとは若干違うものである。　やはり文化や日本人の性格の違いがあるからだ。

日本のクラウドはどうなるのだろうか？

今回の震災での日本人のもつ強さが表れてきた、日本版クラウドの本当のあり方とは、何なんだろう？　まだまだ結論がでるものではなさそうだ。

でも、かなり安心してクラウドを提供できるようにインフラも揃ってきたし、実際のユーザもクラウドを理解し始めている。

今なら、普通にクラウドビジネスはできるようになってきたと思う。
