JASIPA定期交流会

先日、4月27日JASIPA定期交流会が開催された。

その中で、私はグローバルビジネス委員会の報告を行った。

実は、JASIPAのグローバルビジネス委員会の委員長でありながら、その存続に疑問を持っている。

嘗ては盛んな時期もあった。　しかし、今本当に必要なのだろうか？

グローバルビジネスそのものも必要性、重要性は私なりに十分に感じている。「今だからこそ必要だ！」と思っている。

グローバルビジネス委員会の生立ち

JASIPAで、グローバルビジネス委員会の話が初めて出た時、数名の会員の方々から、「海外ビジネスをしたい、そのきっかけとなる場が欲しい・・・」という依頼から、グローバルビジネス委員会が発足され、委員長を引受けた。　当時は委員会出無く、部会であった。

「グローバルビジネスをしたい」、でも、「どうしていいかわからない」　そんな会員の方々の背中を押してあげる場、　

「海外のITビジネスを見てみたい・・・」そんな会員の方々へ海外ITを見る機会を与える場だと思った。

しかし、海外ビジネスには、費用がかかる、先行投資しなくては、そのビジネスは進まない。数年前は、盛んにこの会で海外へ出て行った。

毎回、参加者は、集まった。しかし、２年前ごろから、不況とともに参加者は減っていった。

経費削減の時代だ。　しかし、ITのビジネスも技術も進化を停止することはない、海外を見続けることは、重要なことだと思う。

解ってる人は、この委員会は必要なく、自らでも行動する。

その必要性

なぜ、グローバルビジネスが必要か？

マーケットの拡大、ビジネス＆技術の収集、いろいろあると思う。　各社目的が違う。

今までも弊社にしてみると、新規ビジネスや最新技術という分野での活用が多かった。将来的なマーケットという目的もあり、調査を続けてきている。

しかし、オフショア開発という目的が、JASIPA内では多かったと思う。実際に弊社もベトナムの企業に開発を依頼した。　その出来は、予想をはるかに超えていた。品質も生産性も良かった。

その時は、オフショア開発をビジネスとしてとらえるよりもアジア諸国の進化の速さに驚き、将来的な「アジアのＩＴ」というもの、世界的な「アジアＩＴ」の意味、その中で日本はどこ？　中心では無くなっているようにも思った。

私は、「グローバルビジネスはこうあるべき！」というものは無い、各社がビジネスのやり方が違うからだ。

ただ、日本という小さい国、しかし日本というブランド、十分に必要性もその強さもあるはずだ。　やるべきであり、進めべきだと思う。

先日のJASIPA定期交流会では、報告したものの、そのあり方は、自由であり、やってみたいという方々が入れば、出来る限り協力していきたいと思う。
