台湾出張、「COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2007」へ！

グローバルビジネス部会、台湾へ！

６月５日（火）～、今回グローバルビジネスで、台湾への視察ツアーを実施した。

台湾と言えば、世界第２位を誇る展示会「COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2007」である。最新のアイデアがどれだけ出展されているのか非常に興味が沸く。今回は、３泊４日のスケジュールであるが、全て見れるのか心配である。

台湾へ、エバー航空で！

実は、私は始めての台湾でる。今回は成田空港からエバー航空という台湾の航空会社の便で行くことになった。正直、この航空会社は始めて聞いた名前でもあり不安である。

やっぱり不安、搭乗後、約１時間離陸しない。空調故障ということで修理していたらしい。本当の理由は不明だが、結構ビビッた。

先々週は、アラスカ航空!

そういえば、先々週のアメリカ視察ツアーの帰り、ラスベガスの「INTEROP 2007」を視察後、シアトル経由で日本へ帰ってきた。

どの航空会社もいっぱいでアラスカ航空になってしまった。「エッ、アラスカ航空？」実はこの航空会社も始めての経験だった。ラスベガスのマッカラン航空のチェックインカウンターは非常に空いているし、対応も良かった。

しかし、乗る寸前にゲートが変わった。３６番ゲートのはずである。飛行機もゲートに用意されている。搭乗時間になったので乗ろうとしたら、ゲートから飛行機が離れていった。と同時に、３５番ゲートに別の飛行機が付き、３５番ゲートからと搭乗案内のアナウンスがあった。

おそらく、何らかの理由で飛行機を交換したようである。搭乗後し、２～３時間後にはシアトルに着いた。飛行場内を見ると、アラスカ航空の飛行機が非常に多い。結構大きな航空会社でありアメリカ大陸の北部では数多く飛んでるらしい。

台湾国際航空に到着!

台湾国際航空に到着した。「暑い、ジメジメ・・・」している。台湾はちょうど梅雨であり、気温も30度近い、台湾は、タクシーが安いと聞いているので、市内のホテルまでタクシーでと思ったが、簡単についてしまうのは面白くない。そこでバスで市内へ向かうことにした。

どうも私は、スムーズな旅行より、トラブルが好きになったようだ。昨年、メキシコで車を運転中、ポリスに止められたり、国境でも出国カードをなくして、罰金とられたり、ラスベガスのデパートで非常ベルをならしてしまったりと何かやらかしてしまう癖がある。

無事、ホテルにチェックイン!

バスで市内に、到着後、蒸し暑く重い荷物を持ち、前身汗だらけでどうにかホテルにチェックインできた。

やはり、ちょっと汚いビジネスホテルだ。今回のホテルも非常に安いビジネスホテルを探して泊まることになったが、ヤッパリ今一だなぁ、古いし小さなゴキブリまで部屋にいる。まぁー、観光旅行でないし、仕事だから我慢する。

チェックイン後は、名桜大学の清水教授の案内で屋台が集まるところへ夕食に出かけた。清水先生は、台湾には何度も来ているらしく、非常に詳しいし、世界中の先端技術やアイデアの情報をもっており、非常に勉強になる方である。さすが名桜大学の教授だ。

地下鉄に乗って２駅だけど、地下鉄も結構面白い、非常に技術が進んでる気がする。自動販売機もおもしろいし、我々は、毎日使うどろうと、非接触がたのメトロカードを購入した。自動改札は、日本と変わらない、駅のフォームは綺麗だし、液晶テレビが数多く設置されており、日本よりいい気がした。

屋台へ行き、夕食。私は、好き嫌いが多いのか、アジア料理は結構苦手としている。良くわからないもの注文した。英語も良くわからない感じだ。

どにか食べ、デザート。マンゴーのカキ氷、イチゴのカキ氷、ミニ牛丼、なんか変だなぁ。でもカキ氷は細かくて美味しい。

来た、トラブル！

屋台で食事中、外は大雨と雷で凄い、とっ、突然停電。ここは屋台と言っても大きな建物の中に屋台が数多く並ぶ。真っ暗である。なかなか電気がつかないので、我々は各自が持ってる携帯電話の明かりで、どうにか屋台を出た。う～ん、やっぱり、トラブルは面白い。

ホテルの近くでやっぱり、ビールとかっぱえびせん!

夕食を終え、ホテルへ戻ると、やっぱり近くのコンビニへ、いつもの通り、ビールとかっぱえびせんを買いに出かけた。

確か、今年の２月にベトナムでやっと見つけたコンビニでも同じものを買って失敗した。今度は、どうか？美味しかった。
