シリコンバレーからラスベガスへ！

シリコンバレーの企業をいくつか訪問し、ビジネスの話ししてみた。最初のころは、ここアメリカでビジネスなんて難しいなんて思ったけど、今では、その気と、しっかりとしたビジネスモデル、アイデアなどがあれば結構できるものなのかと思う。いや、逆に余計に難しくなったのかもしれない。

企業訪問を終えて、展示会＆カンファレンス視察に、ラスベガスで開催している「INTEROP 2007 IN LAS VEGAS」へ向かった。

また今年も来てしまった。

また、ラスベガスの「INTEROP」へ来てしまった。

去年は、SIPのセキュリティー、特にSIPファイアーウォールなど日本に持って行きたいものを幾つか調査していた。今年は、何があるのか？　入る前は、ワクワクする。

今年もカンファレンスは、同じような大手企業、話す内容は当然１年前より、進化している。

会場内のネットワークには感動する。

会場内のネットワークは、凄い！　出展企業の各機器が上手い具合に繋がっている。すごいと言うか、かなり興味深いネットワーク構成図になる。

SIPサーバも行くつかのメーカーのものが相互接続されている。結構驚きである。これで本当に、動いている。でも、なぜかAVAYAのSIPサーバは、他社のものと接続されず、単独で配置されてるのが気にな（？）

見つけてしまった『CallNavi』新ソリューション！

いろいろ回っている間に、あるものに興味を持ってしまった。『CallNavi』の新ソリューションができるかもしれない。

テーマは、「シンクライアント」と「ＳＡＡＳ」である。日本の中小企業向けのソリューションとしては、今まで以上に効果がでる気がする。

「オープンソース」と「ＳＡＡＳ」。ここ１、２年、どうしても私の中で日本の文化には合わない気がしている。でも必要なものだと思う、自分でそうもソリューションが見つからないからか「オープンソース」「ＳＡＡＳ」がパッとしない。もっと勉強し、考えないと・・・・。

実際に、製品化して、日本での現実（市場）を体感し、進めていこうではないか。「ＳＩＰ」＋「CallNavi」＋「シンクライアント」＋「ｓａａｓ」どういうソリューションになるか楽しみである。

日本に帰ったら、さっそく企画チームを編成しようと思う。これが成功すると今回のアメリカ視察の大きな成果となる。

JASIPA、グローバルビジネス部会は、動いて、体感して結果を出すのがいい。動かなければ得るものなど無い。

私は、昔から人から聞いた知識で行動するのは苦手だ。自分で体感し、行動しないと納得がいかない。
