日テレではじまった「アカギ」のアニメが面白い！

日テレの「闘牌伝説アカギ」のWebサイトはこちら。

原作は現在17巻まで発売されている。竹書房の月刊麻雀漫画誌「近代麻雀」で連載中（11/15号は休載の模様）。

特徴的なのは、↑この表紙を見てもわかるように、絵が「激しくヘタ」。なのを通り越して「ヘタ美学」まで昇華させているところ。

これをどうアニメ化するのか、興味津々だったが、おお、うまく絵づくりしている。

アカギ以外の男達を極端にマッチョにし、主線を太く、そして「カッコイイ絵」にしようとパース処理している。昭和ノスタルジーの雰囲気作りもいい。

原作者の福本伸行は、作品の質・量、共にこの10年の十傑漫画家の一人に選ばれるだろう（麻雀知っているとより楽しめる）。
