絵はそれほど好みではないのだが、「話とキャラ作りが上手い作家」という印象。特に主人公が「地味で真面目だが、テニスノートを使って段々強くなっていく」という設定が良い。おすすめです。

Wikipediaによると、作者の勝木光さんは、女性とのこと。読んでいる途中で「これ女性かな」と思わせるところがあり（特に主人公とヒロインのやりとり）、やはり、と納得した住吉であった（笑）。
