シブヤ経済新聞2013年12月20日～渋谷駅桜丘口地区再開発計画、都に提案－4棟を建設予定より。以下引用。

東急不動産が地権者・事業協力者として参画する渋谷駅桜丘口地区再開発準備組合は12月19日、「渋谷駅桜丘口地区再開発計画」について東京都に提案したと発表した。

ついに大々的に発表されたね～。住吉は11月29日の地域住民説明会で概要は聞いていたが、12月19日の発表会は、メディアにも公表したのだね。

JR新・渋谷駅は、山手線と埼京線が並列し、2階ホームから3階南改札を出ると、すぐ桜丘町へ歩いて行ける形になるそうだ。3階部分をそのまま歩いて行くと、大和田文化センターのある坂上までアップダウン無く歩けるとのこと。こりゃ便利！

桜丘町民待望の、明治通りのある渋谷3丁目方面への陸橋（線路をまたぐ）も設置されるらしい。ホテルメッツ付近とのこと。

2020年完成予定とのこと・・・あと7年、といえば五輪じゃん！　7年後が楽しみだね～。
