WIRED.jp2011年6月24日～撮影後に焦点を変更可能、Lytro社の新型カメラより。以下引用。

方向も含めた光線情報を保存しており、撮影した写真の焦点を後で自由に変更できるライトフィールドカメラが、米Lytro社から低価格で発売される予定だ。（以下略）

おお、これ面白いね～。被写界深度を狭めて、背景ぼかす「ちょっと凝った」撮影が流行っているみたいだけど、その先を行くね。焦点が自動的に変わる動画にして、BGM付けると新しい体験が出来そうな感じ。焦点ずらすことで、画像認識がより精度高くなり、波の音や動物の鳴き声が自動で流れたり、とか楽しそう。

この製品のテクノロジーとしては、光の色と強度以外に、方向も記録することによって、ソフトウェア処理で焦点を変更できる、とのこと。わかったようなわからないような（笑）。

2011年中に「購入しやすい価格」で発売予定とのこと。日本での発売も待て！
